The Burnie-Wynyard airport is 4km from Leisure Ville. The airport is serviced by Regional Express with return flights to Melbourne and by Sharp Airlines with flights to King Island. Hertz, Avis and Europcar rentals are all located within the terminal.

There are 2 bbq areas with 3 electric bbq’s. They are free to use.

Leisure Ville is located across the road from the beach. It is a 2km long stretch of beach, suitable for swimming but best for exploring.

Bikes are welcome in the Park but are not to be ridden down the entrance or in front of the reception area. There is a lovely flat path following the ocean, from us in to town (3.5km), with two playgrounds and a takeaway shop along the way. Bike hire is available from the Wonders of Wynyard Information Centre.

We do not have a camp kitchen as such. There is a small outside washing up area with a toaster, kettle and fridge located at the amenities, and there are the bbq areas to cook at.

Check-in time is from 2pm. Check out time is by 10am.

Our rooms are serviced when staying longer than 7 days. Fresh towels are available from reception throughout your stay where needed

Cot hire is available for a cost of $12 per stay. A highchair is available at no charge

Our cancellation fee is 10% of your first night or if cancelling with 24 hours (i.e. after 2pm the day before your booking) then our cancellation fee is 100% of your first night

All our cabins and villas have dvd players. We have a small selection of dvd’s available to hire from reception at no charge.

Leisure ville is a member of the family parks group. Membership is $40 for 2 years and members receive a 10% discount up to $20 per site and up to $40 for accommodation per stay.

Fires are not permitted in the park

Fishing is possible off the rocks opposite Leisure Ville at low tide. There are also several spots along the river and river mouth in town.

Children’s ages are 3 – 14 years inclusive. Infants 0 – 2 years stay free of charge. 15 years and older are charged as adults.

The washing machines take 3 x $1.00 coins for a cold wash and $4.00 for a hot wash. Dryers take $1.00 or $2.00 coins, approximately $4.00 - $5.00 dries a load. Change and detergent is available from reception.

All linen and towels are supplied for all of our accommodation. All of our rooms have electric blankets on the main bed.

We do not have any long term sites or accommodation at Leisure Ville.

As we are located in a residential area no excessive noise is permitted after 9pm.

One car space per cabin and villa is provided directly outside the room. Our ensuite and powered sites also have space for only 1 vehicle per site.

We are a pet friendly park on our ensuite and powered sites. Pets are not permitted inside any of our rooms.

There is a public bus stop located at our entrance that runs between wynyard and burnie

Wheelie bins are located around the park and at the rear of the villas. Black recycle bins are located at several of these locations as well.

Bruce’s café at the entrance to leisure ville serves breakfast and lunch, as well as takeaway coffee. Kymmie’s takeaway is 1.5km from leisure ville. In Wynyard there are many café’s, shops, banks as well as a Woolworths and an IGA.

Smoking is not permitted inside any of our accommodation or facilities.

The Spirit of Tasmania docks in Devonport, it is a 1 hour drive from Leisure Ville.

Our swimming pool is open all year round from 8.30am – 8pm. Pool towels are available from reception for those staying in our cabins and villas. Please observe our pool rules at all times, they are there for your safety.

Wynyard is known for the stunning fields of tulips from late September - early October, the Tulip farm is a 10 minute drive from Leisure Ville to Table Cape.

Visitors are permitted in the park but must park their car in the side street. Use of the swimming pool is permitted at managements discretion and occurs an additional cost.
